Permanent Registered Manager
Location: Braintree, Essex
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Full-time (37.5 hrs p/w)
Specialty: Adult Autism & Learning Disabilities
Salary: 38,000 – 45,000 per year (depending on experience)
Mind Professionals invite applications for a Registered Manager position for Residential and Supported Living Care and Support units based in Braintree, Essex.
The Registered Manager will be responsible for the overall management of the services, which provides accommodation and support for adults with learning disabilities and/or autism, and will ensure compliance with relevant legislation, ensuring the service meets and exceeds the requirements of the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2010 and the CQC guidance, also ensuring the overall quality of the service is compliant with the Care Act 2014.
Key Responsibilities include:
– Ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and legislation.
– Providing effective leadership over several sites.
– Managing resources within budget.
– Ensuring that high standards of care and support are delivered consistently across all sites.
– Overall leadership responsibility for the day to day management of the home(s).
Requirements – Include but are not limited to:
– Registered Manager Qualification (QCF / NVQ / RMA) – Or willingness to obtain once in post.
– Health & Social Care Diploma level 5 or equivalent (or sufficient demonstrable experience and value base)
– Experience of working in a CQC registered service.
– Staff management experience and ability to manage, supervise, develop, engage and inspire staff at all levels.
– Experience of working with people with a learning disability
– Working knowledge of Person-Centred Approaches and associated PCP tools.
– Detailed knowledge of the different health and social care professional responsibilities within a learning disability service.
