Job Description

Specialist Adult Therapist
Grade/Band: 6
Location: Carlisle
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Full time 37.5 per week
Service: Hospital

We are looking for a Specialist Adult Speech and Language Therapist to provide ongoing permanent support to an acute and community care team based at a Cumberland Infirmary in Carlisle.

Requirements:
– Degree level (or equivalent) education
– Registered with HPC
– On-going membership with the
RCSLT

– Knowledge of communication and swallowing disorders
– Experience of working within a multidisciplinary team
– Knowledge of discharge planning and community and primary care mental health services.
