Specialty Doctor
Location: Redbridge
Contract: Locum – 4 Weeks
Hours: Full Time
Service: Acute
We are looking for a Specialty Doctor to provide ongoing support to an acute home treatment service for adults aged 18 to 65 with high-severity mental health crises
The service is for people with severe and complex mental and behavioural disorders such as schizophrenia, bipolar affective disorder, and severe depressive disorder.
The role itself involves deputising when required, in the consultant’s absence, and delegate appropriately to other medical staff. You will work closely with MDT members and lead the MDT meetings where appropriate and provide accurate records of information to ensure effective risk management at a clinical level.
• Minimum 2 years UK Psychiatry experience
• Section 12 approval is preferred
