Job Description

Children’s Home Registered Manager

Location: Salisbury, Wiltshire
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Full-time (avg. 39 hrs/week) – Some flexibility needed for smooth running of the home
Specialty: Children’s Care Services
Salary: ยฃ45,000 estimated (depending on experience)

Mind Professionals are looking for a Registered Manager with at least 2 years of experience as a Registered Manager in a Children’s Residential setting in the past 5 years, for full-time permanent work as a Children’s Home Registered Manager. The post holder will lead a team at a children’s home for three children (aged 6-18) in Salisbury, Wiltshire.

Key Responsibilities:

– As the Registered Manager, you will lead, manage, and develop a team of Residential Child Care Workers who help and support children who have experienced Adverse Childhood Experiences and trauma using trauma-informed practices
– The post holder will naturally build rapport with the children, displaying empathy, understanding and relating to the young people they work with.

Requirements:

– Hold or be willing to work towards a Level 5 in Leadership and Management
– Hold a minimum of Level 3 in Children and Young Peoples Work Force
– Have a proven track record with Ofsted, Legislative Framework
– Have at least 2 years of experience as a Registered Manager in a Children’s Residential setting in the past 5 years
