Adult Eating Disorders Service
Midhurst, West Sussex
Salary: 55,000

Mind Professionals are working with our client who is a lead private mental health provider offering support and services across the UK for adults and chilldren struggling with mental health conditions.
They are currently seeking a permanent Clinical Psychologist to join their Adult Eating Disorder service based in Midhurst, West Sussex. This eating disorder service is due to open in summer 2024. This role is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new team and to contribute to the development of the therapeutic programme and psychology pathway with the service. However, you will also be part of a network of eating disorder therapists working across services providing access to CPD, training and peer supervision.
As an inpatient Psychologist you will have,
A Doctoral level training in clinical or counselling psychology (or equivalent if trained overseas).
Registration with the HCPC as a practitioner psychologist.
We will also consider applicants from newly qualified psychologists, or from those who are about to qualify (please clearly state in the application when you will receive HCPC registration).
Knowledge and understanding of eating disorders, and the impact on young adults and their families.
Experience working with individuals with eating disorders and their families, in either community or inpatient services.
Prior experience in eating disorders is desirable but not essential for this position. Experience working with patients with obsessive-compulsive disorder, neurodivergence, trauma and personality disorders is also desirable.
