Job Description
Community Care Assistant
Pay Rate: 11.75 per hour Monday to Friday and 12.25 per hour at weekends – Plus – You will receive a joining bonus following successful completion of your probationary period
Mileage: Paid at 35p/mile
Locations: Roles are available at Brigg, Doncaster, Scarborough, Richmond, Congleton, Buxton, Worksop and surrounding areas.
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Part or Full Time – You can work up to 5 days over a 7-day period with varying shift patterns as agreed with a Manager (7am-2pm or 2pm-10pm)

Your role will be to provide care and support to service users to enable them to live happily at home, to maintain independence, and thrive.
New to care work? You do not need to have any previous experience of working in a care assistant role to apply!

Role Summary:
– You will support service users to live in their own homes safely and securely and will help them maintain their skills and personal interests.
– You will assist service users to accomplish daily tasks, including bathing, eating, dressing, grooming and using the bathroom.
What you need:
– A good standard of secondary education (GCSEs) or equivalent work-based experience
– Basic computer skills
– To be committed to undertake training and development
– Good communication skills
– Good listening skills.
– To be willing to work flexibly within a changing environment.
– Previous experience of working in similar role would be an advantage but isn’t essential.
