DBT Specialist Practitioner
Location: Wellington, Somerset
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Up to Full-time
Specialty: Mental Health / Adults / Inpatient
Annual Salary: £51,632
Mind Professionals are looking for an experienced DBT Therapist for work at a private hospital for men and women with mental health needs, based in Wellington, Somerset.
Key Responsibilities:
– Supporting patients in creating and updating their Behavioural Incentive Pathway.
– Carrying out coaching and DBT awareness enhancement on the DBT pathway.
– Providing written details of the client’s progress within DBT (CPA reports and care notes).
– Attending ICR and CPA meetings and feedback progress for each of your clients. Also attending reflective practice and use this space actively.
– Assessing patients who have been referred to the service and provide an assessment report.
– Supporting in full adherence to the DBT model and service model.
– Enabling and encouraging others to suggest change, challenge tradition and share good practice with other areas of the service and/or organisation
– Providing supervision/mentoring of less experienced therapists and Therapy Care Assistants.
Requirements:
– Formal DBT qualification
– Experience in DBT
– Experience of working within a similar role for 2 years
– Experience of leading, implementing and reviewing DBT initiatives in a related environment
– 5 years post registration experience
– Leadership and Management Skills
