Job Description
Home-based Educational Psychologist
Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Full-time (with potential for Part-time, 4 days/week)
Specialty: Young People Services
Salary: Up to £63,000 (dependant on experience)
Mind Professionals are looking for an Educational Psychologist for full-time work (with potential for part-time for the right candidate) in Young People Services, undertaking hybrid work involving travel to schools within your region. Ideally the successful candidate would have experience and knowledge of working in creative and innovative ways to support education teams in delivering relational approaches and meeting a wide variety of needs including Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH).
Key Responsibilities:
– The post holder will be providing educational psychology practice to the schools in your region.
– The post holder will work creatively and systemically, providing consultation, direct work with young people, and training for staff, to embed strategies that foster meaningful change.
– The post holder will work closely with the Principal EP and Assistant Psychologists, as well as being able to collaborate with other clinical colleagues including SALTs and OTs.
Requirements:
– HCPC registration as a Pratitioner Psychologist (Educational Psychologist)
– Experience and knowledge of working in creative and innovative ways to support education teams in delivering relational approaches and meeting a wide variety of needs including SEMH (ideally)
