Job Description
Locum Children’s Senior Practitioner
Location: Shrewsbury, Shropshire
Contract: Locum – ASAP start, ending mid-September
Hours: Full-time (37 hrs/week)
Specialty: Looked After Children
Pay Rate: £33.30 (Umbrella)
Mind Professionals are looking for a Social Worker for full-time locum work within a Children Looked After Service. The post holder will undertake assessments and interventions with children and their families, working within Shrewsbury, Shropshire.
Key Responsibilities (not exhaustive):
– The post holder will be responsible for undertaking ongoing assessment work and intervention with children and families.
– The post holder will be progressing children’s plans and ensuring that they are accessing the right level of service at the right time.
– The post holder will be working closely with colleagues and partner agencies to ensure that the voice of the child is heard, recorded and forms an integral part of their case planning.
Requirements:
– SWE registration
– Academic qualification or equivalent in Social Work / Social Care
– Experience working with Looked After Children (desirable)
