Locum Clinical Psychologist (Band 8a)
Location: Uxbridge, London, Greater London
Contract: Locum – ASAP start, ending September
Hours: Full-time
Specialty: Mental Health / Dementia
Mind Professionals are looking for a Clinical Psychologist for full-time locum work at a Band 8a grade. The post holder will be working across an Inpatient ward and a special care unit for people with Dementia, working within a hospital setting in Uxbridge, London, Greater London.
Key Responsibilities:
– To provide psychology cover for an Inpatient ward and Special Care unit for those with dementia.
– To provide assessment and, where appropriate, treatment for patients with mental health problems and dementia.
– To develop PBSP for patients.
– To provide consultation for staff and support work of ward AP.
– To attend ward rounds.
Requirements:
– HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist
– Experience working with people with Dementia (desirable)
– Experience working in an Inpatient role/setting (desirable)
