Job Description
Locum Clinical Psychologist (Band 8a)
Location: Somerset
Contract: Locum – ASAP start, 12 months
Hours: Part-time
We are looking for a Clinical Psychologist with significant neuropsychology experience in neurological rehabilitation and psychological therapy experience with patients with stroke/brain injury/physical health conditions for a locum position with a Somerset stroke service.
Essential Requirements:
– Post-graduate doctoral level training in Clinical Psychology (or its equivalent for those trained prior to 1996) as accredited by the British Psychological Society
– Registered with the HCPC as a Practitioner Psychologist
– Psychological therapy experience with patients with stroke/brain injury/physical health conditions
– Supervision training and experience with range of staff and professions
Desirable:
– QiCN/MSc Clinical Neuropsychology
– Specialist psychological therapy with patients with neurological conditions
– Training in two or more psychological therapies
– Post-qualification training in neuropsychological assessment and rehabilitation
