Locum Clinical Psychologist (Band 8b)
Location: Preston, Lancashire
Contract: Locum – ASAP start, 3 months
Hours: Up to Full-time considered
Specialty: Pain Management
Mind Professionals are looking for a Clinical Psychologist for locum work (up to full-time) in Pain Management, working as part of a highly-specialist psychological service based in Preston, Lancashire.
Key Responsibilities:
– Providing a highly specialist psychological service to support and enhance the psychological care of patients with persistent pain as well as supporting and enhancing the work of the Moving Well Pain and ME/CFS multi-disciplinary team.
– To jointly plan, deliver and evaluate specialised Pain Management Programmes in a group-based approach in conjunction with other multidisciplinary team members, providing expertise and advice to facilitate effective and appropriate provision of psychological care by all team members
Requirements:
– HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist (Clinical Psychologist)
– Experience in a relevant role/setting (desirable)
