Job Description
Locum Consultant Psychiatrist – PICU
Location: Camden, London, Greater London
Contract: Locum – ASAP start, 3 months
Hours: Full-time – Monday-Friday, 09:00-17:00
Specialty: PICU
Mind Professionals are looking for a Consultant Psychiatrist with either Section 12 approval or Approved Clinician status (AC status preferred) for full-time locum work in a Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit, based in Camden, Greater London.
Key Responsibilities:
– Lead clinical care for patients admitted to Coral Ward, ensuring safety and high-quality outcomes.
– Provide Responsible Clinician input, oversee physical health care, and collaborate closely with community teams and external partners.
– Supervise and mentor trainees while supporting ongoing learning for all team members.
– Drive quality improvement and contribute to the ward’s proactive and efficient clinical operations.
Requirements:
– Full GMC registration and licence to practise
– Section 12 approval or Approved Clinician status (AC status preferable)
