Locum Consultant Psychiatrist
Location: Tonbridge, Kent
Contract: Locum – ASAP start, 2.5 months
Hours: Full-time – Monday-Friday, 09:00-17:00 (Less than full-time would be considered)
Specialty: CAMHS / Community
Mind Professionals are looking for a Consultant Psychiatrist for full-time locum work in CAMHS, undertaking a variety of responsibilities across hospital and home settings in Tonbridge, Kent.
Key Responsibilities:
– Provide guidance and supervision to crisis and intensive home treatment team including attending daily handover case management meetings.
– Liaise with children, families and community psychiatrists.
– Conduct psychiatric assessments in patients homes and general hospital sites across Kent
– Lead on emergency MHA assessments in 136 suite and general hospital sites.
– Manage 1-3 72hr sleepover beds at an adolescent hospital in Tonbridge, Kent.
Requirements:
– Full GMC registration and licence to practise
– Section 12 approval (desirable)
– Approved Clinician status (desirable)
– CCT (desirable)
– MRCPsych (or equivalent experience)
