Job Description
Locum Consultant Psychiatrist
Location: Broadstairs, Kent
Contract: Locum – ASAP start, 3 months
Hours: Full-time – Monday-Friday, 09:00-17:00 (some agile working considered)
Specialty: CAMHS
Mind Professionals are looking for a Consultant Psychiatrist with MRCPsych (though a Specialty Doctor may be considered) for full-time locum work in CAMHS, managing a caseload of young people (aged 0-18) with mental health and neurodevelopmental difficulties, based in Broadstairs, Kent.
Key Responsibilities:
– Managing clinical caseload of young people 0-18 with mental health & Neurodevelopmental difficulties.
– Prescribing and monitoring medication.
– Participation in day time duty rota covering emergencies across the south/east of the county with crisis team.
– Support for MDT in psychiatric formulation.
Requirements:
– Full GMC registration and licence to practise
– MRCPsych (essential)
– Section 12 approval (desirable)
– At least 6 months of CAMHS experience (essential)
