Job Description
Locum Consultant Psychiatrist
Location: Gillingham, Kent
Contract: Locum – ASAP start, ending late July
Hours: Part-time – 2 days/week (Thurs/Fri), 09:00-17:00
Specialty: CAMHS / Neurodevelopment
Mind Professionals are looking for a Consultant Psychiatrist, with MRCPsych and at least 6 months of experience in CAMHS, for part-time locum work with children and young people (aged 0-18) with mental health and Neurodevelopmental difficulties, based in Gillingham, Kent.
Key Responsibilities:
– Managing clinical caseload of young people 0-18 with mental health & Neurodevelopmental difficulties
– Prescribing and monitoring medication
– Participation in day time duty rota covering emergencies across the south/east of the county with crisis team
– Support for MDT in psychiatric formulation
Requirements:
– Full GMC registration and licence to practise
– MRCPsych
– Section 12 approval (desirable)
– At least 6 months of experience in CAMHS
– Valid driving licence
