Job Description
Locum Consultant Psychiatrist
Location: Ashford, Kent
Contract: Locum – ASAP start, ending late July
Hours: Full-time – Monday-Friday, 09:00-17:00
Specialty: CAMHS
Mind Professionals are looking for a Consultant Psychiatrist with at least 6 months of experience in CAMHS for full-time locum work, covering a caseload of Children and Young People (aged 0-18), based in Ashford, Kent.
Key Responsibilities:
– Managing clinical caseload of young people 0-18 with mental health & Neurodevelopmental difficulties
– Prescribing and monitoring medication
– Participation in day time duty rota covering emergencies across the south/east of the county with crisis team
– Support for MDT in psychiatric formulation and risk management.
Requirements:
– Full GMC registration and licence to practise
– MRCPsych
– CCT in Child Psychiatry (ideally) OR Adult Psychiatrists with CAMHS experience
– At least 6 months of experience in CAMHS
– Valid driving licence
