Job Description
Locum Consultant Psychiatrist – CMHT
Location: Leamington Spa, Warwickshire
Contract: Locum – Starting late May, ending late June
Hours: Full-time (40 hrs/week)
Specialty: Community (CMHT)
Mind Professionals are looking for a Consultant Psychiatrist with substantial psychiatry experience (ideally in a Community role/setting) for full-time locum work as part of a Community Mental Health Team (CMHT), based in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire.
Key Responsibilities:
– To assess new referrals from GPs, inpatient wards, transfers from Home Treatment teams and internal referrals.
– To provide assessment, making an appropriate diagnosis, formulating management plans in the short term and long term.
– To provide supervision to a middle grade Doctor as required.
Requirements:
– Full GMC registration and licence to practise
– Substantial experience of Psychiatry
– Experience working with people suffering from severe mental illness, preferably in a Community setting
