Job Description
Locum Consultant Psychiatrist
Location: Westbourne, Bournemouth, Dorset
Contract: Locum – ASAP start, 4 weeks
Hours: Full-time (40 hrs/week)
Specialty: Mental Health / Rehabilitation / Community
Mind Professionals are looking for a Consultant Psychiatrist with Section 12 approval and Approved Clinician status for full-time locum work, covering a Mental Health Rehabilitation service in Westbourne, Bournemouth, Dorset.
Key Responsibilities:
– To cover a Mental Health Rehabilitation Service in East Dorset.
– To provide medical input into a in-patient rehabilitation unit and Community Rehab Team (CRT), which are part of a wider Complex Care Mental Health Service.
– To work with the teams that provide community rehab and inpatient based services to patients registered with general practitioners within Bournemouth, Christchurch & Poole.
Requirements:
– Full GMC registration and licence to practice
– Section 12 approval
– Approved Clinician status
– Experience working in Mental Health Rehabilitation (desirable)
– Experience working in a Community role/setting (desirable)
