Locum Mental Health Nurse (Band 6)
Location: Uttoxeter, Staffordshire
Contract: Locum – ASAP start, 12 weeks
Hours: Full-time (37.5 hrs/week)
Specialty: Prison Services
Mind Professionals are looking for 2 Registered Mental Health Nurses, with experience working in Mental Health in Prison settings, for full-time locum work at a Category B Adult Male prison, based near Uttoxeter, Staffordshire.
Key Responsibilities:
– To provide mental health interventions to Service Users within the prison establishment across wellbeing, primary and secondary mental health.
– To work as an integral member of the multi-disciplinary, multi-agency team to provide advice and support to primary health care based within the prison and to liaise with, and provide advice and support to statutory and non-statutory agencies.
– To provide specialist mental health interventions to service users in the prison.
Requirements:
– NMC registration
– Prison Mental Health experience
– Prison Clearance
– Driving licence
