Job Description
Locum Mental Health Practitioner (Band 6)
Location: Bolton, Greater Manchester
Contract: Locum – ASAP start, ending mid-July
Hours: Full-time – Monday-Friday, 09:00-17:00
Specialty: CAMHS
Mind Professionals are looking for an Occupational Therapist, Registered Mental Health Nurse or Social Worker for full-time locum work as a Mental Health Practitioner in CAMHS, based in Bolton, Greater Manchester.
Key Responsibilities:
– Provide interventions, advice, consultancy and supervision to both colleagues and colleagues within external partner agencies in line with THRIVE
– Provide high standards of evidence based client centred care to children and young people with mental health [CYPMH] problems within the THRIVE Framework for service delivery
– To hold a caseload of assessments, treatment and consultation work based upon a conceptual framework and employing research based evidence
– To provide direct therapeutic interventions in line with the grading of the post, including assessments, formulation and therapeutic input into children , young people and families referred into the service
– Undertake risk assessments and care plans accordingly, in line with the THRIVE framework
Requirements:
– Relevant professional registration (HCPC, NMC, SWE)
– Relevant academic qualification or equivalent
– Experience working in Mental Health (desirable)
– Experience working in CAMHS (desirable)
