Job Description
Locum Occupational Therapist
Location: Widnes, Cheshire
Contract: Locum – ASAP start, 9 months (maternity cover)
Hours: Part-time – 2 days/week
Specialty: Neurorehabilitation
Mind Professionals are looking for an Occupational Therapist for part-time locum work as part of a specialist Neuropsychiatric Rehabilitation service for men, supporting those affected by Acquired Brain Injury or Neurological Conditions, based in Widnes, Cheshire.
Key Responsibilities (not exhaustive):
– The post holder will supervise an entry-level Band 6 Occupational Therapist and an OTA (experienced Band 6 or Band 7 equivalent)
Requirements:
– HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist
– Experience working in Neuropsychiatry and Mental Health
– Experience in supervising others
