Job Description
Locum Occupational Therapist (Band 6)
Location: Ipswich, Suffolk
Contract: Locum
Hours: Full-time – Monday-Friday, 08:00-16:00 (or 09:00-17:00)
Specialty: Mental Health / Older Adults / Inpatient
Mind Professionals are looking for an Occupational Therapist, with experience working in Mental Health, for full-time locum work with Older Adults, working in a Mental Health Inpatient setting in Ipswich, Suffolk.
Key Responsibilities:
– Assessment to support discharge planning
– Assessment and provision of equipment.
– Group and 1-1 intervention.
– MDT attendance.
Requirements:
– HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist
– Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy
– Experience working in Mental Health and equipment provision
– Experience working with Older Adults in an Inpatient role/setting (preferred)
