Job Description
Locum Occupational Therapist (Band 6)
Location: Ipswich, Suffolk
Contract: Locum (Long-term)
Hours: Full-time – Monday-Friday (08:00-16:00 or 09:00-17:00)
Specialty: Mental Health / Older Adult / Inpatient
Mind Professionals are looking for an Occupational Therapist with experience in Mental Health for full-time locum work. The post holder will be working in Mental Health with Older Adults, working in an Inpatient ward setting in Ipswich, Suffolk.
Key Responsibilities:
– Assessment to support discharge planning.
– Assessment and provision of equipment, group and 1-1 intervention.
– MDT attendance.
Requirements:
– HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist
– Academic qualification or equivalent in Occupational Therapy
– Experience in Mental Health and equipment provision
– Experience working in an Older Adult Inpatient role/setting (preferable)
