Job Description
Locum Occupational Therapist – Special Educational Needs
Location: Tonbridge, Kent
Contract: Locum
Hours: Part-time – 2 days/week
Specialty: Special Educational Needs
Mind Professionals are looking for an Occupational Therapist for part-time, summer term-time locum work at a Special Educational Needs school in Tonbridge, Kent.
The post holder would be working in an independent specialist day school providing high-quality education to a diverse group of pupils who have a range of complex educational needs, communication difficulties and challenging behaviours.
Requirements:
– HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist
– Recognised Course of Study that fulfils the requirements for membership of HCPC
– Experience of working with people with a range of needs including developmental trauma; neurodiversity and Special Educational Needs
– Good organisational skills and an ability to work independently & demonstrate initiative
– Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
– Ability to travel between locations
