Job Description
Locum Principal Clinical Psychologist
Location: Lincoln, Lincolnshire
Contract: Locum – ASAP start, ending late August
Hours: Full-time (37.5 hrs/week)
Specialty: Mental Health / Community
Total Pay/Hour: £37.71 (Paid VIA Approved Umbrella)
Mind Professionals are looking for a Clinical/Counselling Psychologist with at least 2 years of previous permanent employment at a Principal grade for full-time locum work as a Principal Clinical Psychologist, working in Adult Mental Health in the Community of Lincoln, Lincolnshire.
Key Responsibilities:
– To provide a high-quality specialist qualified Clinical/Counselling psychology service as an autonomous and independent practitioner as determined by the local Consultant Clinical Psychologist (or designated other) in the defined service sector and as determined by the Head of Service, Defence Clinical Psychology Service (Hd DCPS).
– To provide a specialist psychological assessment and therapy service, at the same time as demonstrating clinical leadership, offering advice and consultation on clients’ psychological care to non-psychologist colleagues and to others, working autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the relevant teams’ policies and procedures.
Requirements (not exhaustive):
– HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist
– Postgraduate doctoral level training in Clinical/Counselling Psychology or equivalent, as accredited by the BPS
– At least 2 years of post-qualification experience working as a Clinical/Counselling Psychologist within Adult Mental Health
– Evidence of at least 2 years previous permanent employment at a Principal grade
