Locum Psychologist
Location: Stafford, Staffordshire
Contract: Locum
Hours: Part-time – 3 days/week
Specialty: CAMHS
Mind Professionals are looking for a Psychologist for part-time locum work as part of a CAMHS service, based a private hospital in Stafford, Staffordshire.
Key Responsibilities:
– Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to understand each young person’s unique needs
– Deliver a range of evidence-based psychological therapies, such as CBT, DBT, and ACT, tailored to individual treatment plans
– Collaborate closely with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team to ensure integrated and person-centred care
– Support service development initiatives that align with best practice and current research to enhance patient care
– Play a key role in the company’s initiative to support hospital staff wellbeing, fostering a healthy, resilient workplace culture
– Provide supervision, guidance, and professional development to Assistant Psychologists and other members of the multidisciplinary team
– Promote and develop a culture of research within the service, encouraging evidence-based practice and ongoing learning
– Keep people safe from harm and protect their human rights
Requirements:
– HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist
– CAMHS experience (desirable)
