Job Description
Locum Registered Mental Health Nurse/Social Worker (Band 6)
Location: Blackpool, Lancashire
Contract: Locum – ASAP start, 2 weeks
Hours: Full-time – Monday-Friday, 09:00-17:00
Specialty: CAMHS
Mind Professionals are looking for a Registered Mental Health Nurse or Social Worker for full-time locum work as part of a CAMHS team, based in Blackpool, Lancashire.
Key Responsibilities:
– Complete care and hospital discharge plans.
– To support the team and work collaboratively.
– To signpost to appropriate services and make safeguarding referrals when needed.
Requirements:
– Relevant professional registration (NMC/SWE)
– Relevant academic qualification
– Experience of working with risk and adapting changing risk plans
– Experience triaging/duty support for a team and prioritizing caseload and work
– Experience of working with young people with a variety of wellbeing and mental health presentations
– Experience of CAMHS/Children child protection work
