Locum Senior Children’s Social Worker – Hybrid
Location: Shrewsbury, Shropshire
Contract: Locum – ASAP start, ending mid-September
Hours: Full-time – 5 days/week (2 days office, 3 days visits/home working)
Specialty: Children in Need (CiN)
Pay Rate: £33.30 (Umbrella)
Mind Professionals are looking for an experienced Social Worker for full-time locum work on a Case Management or Court Teams, working with Children in Need (CiN). The post holder will be based in Shrewsbury, Shropshire, however the role will involve family visits and home working.
Key Responsibilities:
– Work directly with families to ensure the safety and long-term wellbeing of children.
– Manage a protected caseload of children involved in legal proceedings.
– Collaborate with a supportive management team and access resources across the service.
Requirements:
– SWE registration
– Experience working with Children in Need (CiN)
– Experience in Child Protection (CP)
– Experience in Care Proceedings
– Strong assessment, planning and communication skills
