Job Description
Locum Senior Occupational Therapist
Location: Shrewsbury, Shropshire
Contract: Locum – ASAP start, ending late August
Hours: Full-time (37 hrs/week)
Specialty: Adults
Pay Rate: £31.97 (Umbrella)
Mind Professionals are looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist for full-time locum work, based in Shrewsbury, Shropshire.
The post holder will be performing 10 single-handed assessments across a 15 week period, aiming to provide appropriate equipment to reduce reliance on carers, thereby enhancing the independence of and improiving the wellbeing of clients.
Key Responsibilities:
– To perform 10 single-handed assessments per week over 15 weeks.
– To reduce the reliance on carers, enhancing the independence and wellbeing of clients.
– To order and manage equipment needs assessed under the Care Act (2014).
– To collaborate closely with an Adult Social Care team to reassess existing support plans.
Requirements:
– HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist
– Academic qualification or equivalent in Occupational Therapy
– At least 7 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist
