Job Description
Locum Specialist Occupational Therapist Lead (Band 6)
Location: Loughborough, Leicestershire
Contract: Locum – to 31 March 2025 initially
Hours: Full-time – 37.5 hrs/week
Service: Psychological Wellbeing
Total Pay/Hour: 27.98 (Paid via Approved Umbrella)
Mind Professionals are looking for an Occupational Therapist locum for a full-time Band 6 specialist role based with a Psychological Wellbeing Service at a Defence Medical Rehabilitation Centre (DMRC) in Loughborough, Leicestershire.
Essential Requirements:
– HCPC Registration
– Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy
– Current driving licence (role cannot be delivered using public transport)
– Completing or working towards postgraduate / level 7 training in Occupational Health, Vocational Rehabilitation or other relevant field of practice.
Desirable Requirements:
– Competence in Functional Capacity Evaluation (FCE) or other standardised assessments administration
– Experience of Armed Forces healthcare, either in the single service or tri service environment.
– Experience working with service personnel and the chain of command
