Job Description
Locum Specialist Occupational Therapist (Band 6)
Location: Ilford, London, Greater London
Contract: Locum – ASAP start, ending late May
Hours: Full-time (37.5 hrs/week) – Monday-Friday, 08:30-16:30 (would consider part-time, dependant on experience)
Specialty: Community
Mind Professionals are looking for an Occupational Therapist with NHS experience for full-time locum work as part of a Community Rehab team, based in Ilford, Greater London.
Part-time would be considered for this role, depending on experience, for a minimum of 3 days/week (22.5 hrs/week).
Key Responsibilities:
– The independnent assessment, treatment and discharge planning of patients in community rehab team
– Equipment reasoning and ordering
– Use of recognisable outcome measures
– Family meetings
Requirements:
– HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist
– Post-qualification experience as an Occupational Therapist
– Experience working within the NHS (preferrably within Community and Rehab)
– Access to and ability to drive a car
