Job Description
Locum Speech and Language Therapist (Band 6)
Location: Newham, London, Greater London
Contract: Locum – ASAP start, 3 months
Hours: Full-time (37.5 hrs/week)
Specialty: Adults / Older Adults / Palliative Care
Mind Professionals are looking for a Speech and Language Therapist for full-time Locum work across two services, an Adult Speech and Language Therapy Service and a Community Neuro Service, both based in Newham, London, Greater London.
Key Responsibilities:
– To tend to waiting lists, urgent swallowing referrals, with palliative care needs.
– To provide specialist speech and language therapy to adults in Newham with acquired communication and/or swallowing difficulties.
Requirements:
– HCPC registration as a Speech and Language Therapist
– Academic qualification or equivalent in Speech and Language Therapy
