Job Description
Locum Speech and Language Therapist (Band 6)
Location: Kettering, Northamptonshire
Contract: Locum – 1 month
Hours: Part-time – 3 days/week (Tues, Wed, Thurs)
Specialty: Adult
Mind Professionals are looking for a Speech and Language Therapist with experience in Dysphagia assessment, management and treatment for part-time locum work in Adult Speech and Language Therapy, working in a hospital in Kettering, Northamptonshire.
Key Responsibilities:
– To provide assessment, management and treatment to progressive disorders regarding communication and swallowing.
– To carry out triaging of the hospital waiting list for community.
– To carry out home visits and visits to nursing homes as well and seeing patients at the clinic.
Requirements:
– HCPC registration as a Speech and Language Therapist
– Relevant academic qualification or equivalent in Speech and Language Therapy
– Experience in Dysphagia assessment, management and treatment
– Smartcard
– Current or recent SytemOne knowledge
– Access to own transport
