Speech and Language Therapist – Special Education Needs
Location: Walsall, West Midlands
Contract: Locum
Hours: Full-time
Specialty: Special Education Needs
Mind Professionals are looking for a Speech and Language Therapist for full-time locum work at a Special Educational Needs school in Walsall, West Midlands.
The post holder would be working at an independent specialist day school providing high-quality education to a diverse group of pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and a range of associated needs.
Requirements:
– HCPC registration as a Speech and Language Therapist
– Eligible for membership of BACP, or a similar professional body (additional mental health or therapeutic intervention qualifications would be desirable)
– Well-versed in child development and good at connecting with young people
– Highly organised and ready to take the initiative
– Honesty and empathy is a must
