Job Description
Occupational Therapist
Location: Sheffield, South Yorkshire
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Part-time (22.5 hrs/week)
Specialty: CAMHS
Salary: Up to £44,000
Mind Professionals are looking for an Occupational Therapist for part-time work in a home-based role, involving travel to and from schools within their region, Sheffield, South Yorkshire. The post holder will work with the school communities to ensure high-quality provision for the students, and will provide training to staff alongside implementing interventions to further support young people day-to-day.
Key Responsibilities:
– The post holder will provide occupational therapy services within the schools in their region (Sheffield, South Yorkshire)
– The post holder will work closely with the school communities in supporting high quality provision for students.
– The post holder will provide training to staff and implement interventions to support young people in their daily lives.
– The post holder will provide environmental advice to help students access their education.
Requirements:
– HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist
– Experience and knowledge of working creatively in a school environment (ideally)
– Knowledge of the occupational therapy process and have a range of understanding in various assessment and interventions, including sensory processing and SEMH
