Salary: £40,006 – £42,835 pa (actual)
Service: Adult Inpatient
We are looking for an Occupational Therapist to provide occupational therapeutic support and deliver interventions to a caseload of our students with social, emotional, and mental health difficulties.
The post holder will work collaboratively as part of the Occupational Therapy and wider multidisciplinary therapy team, contributing to the delivery of a high-quality Occupational Therapy service for students. This includes adopting a whole-person approach to each student’s physical, emotional, social and environmental wellbeing, ensuring that interventions support both their educational and personal development. The role also involves delivering training and sharing Occupational Therapy knowledge and processes with school staff to promote consistent support across the setting.
The Occupational Therapist will also respond to and evaluate referrals, carry out comprehensive assessments for new and existing students, and, in consultation with the wider Occupational Therapy team, plan and deliver age-appropriate intervention programmes for individuals and groups.
The role would be 4 days a week (30 hrs), term time only (39 wks) plus 2 weeks admin time. An additional 5.6 weeks of holiday would be paid as part of the salary.
