Job Description
Occupational Therapist Team Manager
Grade/ Band: 7
Location: Birmingham
Contract: Locum
Hours: 37.5 Hours
Specialty: Inpatient
Responsibilities:
· Manage a specialist clinical caseload of patients with complex occupational therapy needs within Assessment and Treatment Services and Forensic Learning Disability Services.
· Provide high-quality, person-centered and evidence-based Occupational Therapy assessments, interventions, and treatment planning.
· Complete comprehensive occupational therapy assessments, including functional assessments, identifying strengths, barriers, risks, and areas requiring therapeutic support.
Requirements:
· Experience working within mental health, learning disability, forensic, or complex inpatient services.
· Experience managing a clinical caseload and delivering structured occupational therapy interventions.
· Strong understanding of recovery-focused and person-centered Occupational Therapy practice.
