Job Description

Permanent Clinical Psychologist – Brain Injury and Neurorehabilitation
Required in Kent

Hours: Full or Part time (22.5 hours) – Some flexibility
Start date: ASAP
Location: Ashford, Kent
Band: 7 / 8a considered
Full Time Salary: 44,382 – 48,028.50 per annum
Part Time Pro-Rata Salary: 26,629.20 – 28.817.10 (3 days per week)

Mind Professionals is recruiting on behalf of one of the country’s largest independent mental health care providers for a band 7 or 8a Clinical Psychologist to support their Brain Injury and Neurorehabilitation service on a permanent basis.

You will be working within a rehabilitation and long-term care service for adults who present with cognitive or physical impairments as a result of acquired or traumatic brain injury. The centre offers residential care, respite care and outpatient services for adult service users.

Within the post, you will be expected to carry out the following key duties:

– Provide a high quality specialist clinical Neuropsychology service, within the multidisciplinary neurorehabilitation team
– Supervise and support neuropsychological assessment and therapy provided by other psychologists, including, trainee, and assistant psychologists

To be successful, you must have the following:

– HCPC registration
– Specialised knowledge of neuropsychological disorders / conditions
– Experience working with long term conditions and neuro-disability including brain injury
