Physiotherapist
Grade/Band: 6/7
Location: Hackney
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 37.5 hours
Specialty: SEND
Responsibilities:
1. To provide physiotherapy assessment (e.g. functional, behavioural and standardised
assessments, skilled observation, checklists, histories and interviews) and intervention in
accordance with the child’s needs and requirements as stated within the statement.
2. You will assess, input and monitor any seating requirements for the pupils. Where
relevant, you will work together with the Occupational Therapist.
3. Develop intervention plans based on student needs and regularly evaluate.
4. Monitor and reassess the effects of physiotherapy intervention and the need to continue,
modify, or discontinue intervention.
5. Participates in multidisciplinary meetings to review evaluation results, integrate findings
with other disciplines, offer recommendations and develop individual education plans and
intervention plans to achieve IEP goals.
Requirements:
– 3 + years post PT qualification working in paediatrics
– Experience in working across a multi-professional team
– Registered with the HCPC
