Psychologist
Location: Bury
Contract: Locum; 3 days
We are searching for a Psychologist to join a medium secure service for men with mental illness and complex needs who present with a high level of risk, and who other services may have struggled to diagnose. There are 13 beds in the unit, supported by a full MDT.
Programmes are tailored to individual needs and our MDT work with service users to identify treatment options. Our full range of programmes includes:
• DBT
• ASSIST (PD intervention)
• EMDR
• Fire setting
• Life Minus Violence
• CBT for psychosis
• Schema Therapy
• Sex Offender Treatment Programme (SOTP)
• Substance misuse
• Adapted therapy programmes for Deaf patients
Requirements
· Must have forensic experience
