Registered Manager
Location: Osmington, Weymouth, Dorset
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Full-time (avg 39 hrs/week) – With some flexibility needed to ensure the smooth running of the home
Specialty: Children’s Care Services
Salary: 39,706.50 – 42,796.50 per annum (dependant on experience)
Mind Professionals are looking for a Registered Manager for full-time work at a Solo Placement home for one Child aged 6-11 on admission who has experienced Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and a range of developmental traumas. The post holder will be responsible for the home’s day-to-day running and the development of the established team, leading a dedicated team in a culture where children are respected, heard, and involved in their own lives.
Key Responsibilities:
– Using the company Attachment and Trauma-Informed Care (ATIC) model, you will lead a dedicated team in a culture where children are respected, heard, and involved in their own lives.
– The post holder will naturally build rapport with the children, displaying empathy, understanding and relating to the children you work with, providing them with a home full of love where they can grow, learn and thrive.
Requirements:
– A Level 5 or Equivalent in Residential Childcare: Leadership & Management.
– A Proven Ofsted track record
– Minimum of 3 years of management experience in a Residential Children’s Home
– A Good Knowledge of the SCCIF and the Children’s Home Regulations (2015)
– To be a leader in Trauma Informed Practice
