Speech and Language Therapist
Contract type: Permanent
Hours: Part time, flexible working – 10-15 hours per week over 2-3 days
Location: Haslemere, Surrey
Service: Wellbeing / Mental Health
Salary: 45,000 – 55,000 (FTE) depending on experience
Band 6-7
Mind Professionals are looking for a Speech and Language Therapist for a part time permanent team role based at specialist neurorehabilitation, general and post-operative rehabilitation and complex respiratory care centre in Surrey.
You will manage a highly complex and demanding caseload of patients with physical disabilities, neurological conditions, severe or profound learning difficulties and complex needs.
Requirements:
– Degree in Speech and Language Therapist
– HCPC registration
– Evidence-based practice in assessment, differential diagnosis and management of neurological conditions
– Knowledge of clinical governance and risk management
– Knowledge of relevant NICE guidelines
– Ability to demonstrate awareness of neurological conditions and tracheostomy related respiratory management
