Job Description

Speech and Language Therapist

Location: Luton
Contract: Locum, 12 weeks
Service: Stroke Unit

We are looking for a Speech and Language Therapist to assist in the management of complex communication and dysphagia caseloads. Candidate with experience in FEES, tracheostomy management or head and neck cancer pathways is sought after.

The SaLT service operates across the acute stroke unit, the Early Supported Discharge pathway, community provision and head and neck cancer services. The post sits on the acute side and requires someone who can work confidently across inpatient and community settings.

Requirements:
– Strong Band 7 level experience within acute stroke services
– Hospital and community interfaces experience
